European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) through a won tender. The tender is in collaboration with the Dipartimento di Scienze Cardio-

Zeta Research joins the BioHighTech NET 4.0 network (www.biohightech.net), the first company network of companies in the human health sector.

From 2020 to 2022 – The ROUND project
The ROUND project aims to develop a dynamic world map showing adult fruit and vegetables consumption in different countries and regions, and to determine the
percentage of contribution of different nutrients from fruits, vegetables and legumes, compared to recommended daily nutrient intakes for both adults and
elderly populations.

From 2019 to 2024 – NCS PARTNER
Zeta Research was a partner of Nutritional Care Service Srl (www.nutritionalcareservice.eu), a service company dedicated to the study,
analysis, and monitoring of nutritional data, with the aim of providing technical-scientific consulting services as well as in-person and online training in the field
of nutrition.

Zeta Research is beneficiary of PREFER (sviluPpo di un pRodotto biocompatibilE per la terapia delle FERite difficili), a project approved under the POR FESR 2014-

Machine Learning techniques applied in risk assessment related to food safety Zeta Research activities in consortium:
• Identification/application of an appropriate ELS strategy, screening of ELS results and finally identification of criteria for classifying the identified MLT
techniques, in order to produce an inventory of available MLT techniques that could be of use in risk assessment.

Zeta Research activities:
• Planning, development and management of a web platform and software for the collection of clinical data of The Register Rip & Rid: the software
manages five types of users and allows collecting data from about 400 Italian centers and the management of at least 800 users. To date, the
implants and related clinical cards are more than 1.000.000.
• Creation and management of databases, training and assistance to centers, preparation of operating procedures and manuals of use. In support of the
project, Zeta deals the dissemination and promotion of the computerized registry to Congress, of writing newsletters and implementation of web
survey for monitoring the compliance of the Centers and to gather new ideas from users.

From 2013 to December 2017- Italian Oncologic Multicentric Survey
Multicenter clinical trial on the evaluation of BTP in Oncologic.
Zeta Research activity:
• Planning, development and management of a web platform dedicated to the study for data collection with OpenClinica from 32 Centers and parallel
site statistics and management publications (newsletter and documentation for the study) the study involves the insertion of 3,000 cases.
• Creation, evaluation and management of the database.
• Statistical analysis performed with the use of R and statistical reports.
• Writing scientific article on 1500 patients.

From January 2013- to December 2020 – SusySafe Registry
Susy Safe is an international surveillance registry for injuries due to food and non-food foreign body ingestion, aspiration, inhalation or insertion (corresponding to
ICD9 codes 930 to 939) in children.
Zeta Research activities:
• Planning, development and management of a web platform and software for the collection of clinical data of The SusySafe Registry: the software
manages two types of users and allows collecting data from more than 50 international centers. To date, the cases are more than 36.000.
• Training and assistance to centers, preparation of operating procedures and manuals of use. In support of the project, Zeta deals with the
dissemination and promotion of the Registry at scientific congresses, Creation of newsletters and implementation of web survey on risk
perception.
• Statistical analysis performed with the use of R.
• Drafting and reporting results.

2011 – 2012 – Project VTP
Survey on Europeans’ understanding of nutritional labels and evaluation on the
communication tools for their diffusion.
Zeta Research activities:
• Planning and development of a survey of CATI: A total of 14.550 phone interviews were conducted in 16 European Countries Consumers were
asked about their opinion on nutritional information provided at different levels and their commitment to healthy behavior. The same survey was
conducted later in a country outside Europe for a comparison: 1.000 subjects were interviewed in Chile. The data were entered into the
database via the web by operators using Lime Survey as software data collection.

From 2013 – Project ONSTAT
Creation of a website for e-commerce services for statistical analysis.
Zeta Research activities:
• Planning and development of a website which allows the user to upload a database and the purchase of services, statistical analysis and medical
writing directly online.
